We are thrilled to announce that Keynote Group’s co-founder and Managing Partner, Donna Baker has been selected as a recipient for the 2018 Forty Under Forty Awards and awarded Businesswoman of the Year – Emerging Entrepreneur.
The Businesswoman of The Year Awards have recognized the accomplishments of outstanding women in the National Capital Region since 1983. The “Emerging Entrepreneur” is defined as a person who organizes and operates an emerging business or group of businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.
Joining Keynote’s other partners, James Baker and Heidi Hauver in the Forty under 40 alumni, this prestigious business award is presented by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal and recognizes accomplished leaders in the Ottawa business community.
Donna is the co-founder of Keynote Group and as Managing Partner of Keynote Search, she leads their executive search business that combines leading edge artificial intelligence, team dynamic analysis and headhunting with dedicated post placement support.
Since its inception in 2015, Keynote Group has been awarded Best New Business at the BOB’s in 2016, Best New Business by West Ottawa Board of Trade in 2017, Business of the Year by the Orleans Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and Family Enterprise of the year in 2017. 2018 sees the commercialization of KAIT, Keynote’s AI platform modelled on Donna’s headhunting methodology.
On top being a wife, mother and running her business, Donna supports the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation and Ottawa Heart Institute. When she isn’t working, you will find her running the streets in preparation for her first marathon.
